Gloria Moorehead

Gloria Helen Moorehead, a cherished member of the Henderson, Nevada Community , passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025,at the age of 88. Born on January 26,1937, in the serene landscapes of Nova Scotia, Gloria lived a full and vibrant life, enriched by the love and the joy of exploration.

A devoted wife, Gloria shared her life with her beloved husband, the late Donald Edward Moorehead. Together, they traveled the globe, creating a tapestry of unforgettable memories and experiences that they cherish deeply. Gloria was known for her infectious humor and her undeniable skill at card games, where her competitive spirit often led to victory.

Glorias legacy is carried forward by her loving family. She is survived by her son, Richard William Moorehead, and her daughters, Kathryn Linda Lewis, JoAnn Mattaliano, and Michele Lee Moorehead. She was predeceased by her son Brian Donald Moorehead. Her life was further blessed with 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, each a testament to the love and warmth she shared throughout her life.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Bell and Audrey Frances Bell (Parnham), whose memory she cherished. Her family and friends will forever remember her not only for her remarkable life also for the joy and laughter she brought to those around her.
