Joe passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 68. He was born in New York where he met his wife, Jeanne. They were just kids, but once they graduated, they married, and he joined the Army. Moving to a few different states, they settled in Alaska and raised a family.
Joe was very proud to have served his country. Once he got out of the Army, he went into security and firearms training. He became one of the top 10 NRA instructors in the United States.
Joe was technically retired for 2 years but for the last 18 years, he resided in Nevada, living his best life. He took positions that gave him the opportunity to entertain the community due to his love for making people happy. In turn, the unexpected bonus was being able to not only meet but also work with many celebrities. Some of whom he was honored and became friends with, while others he had no clue and would have to call family and ask who they were. He truly loved being Cowboy Joe at Bonnie Springs and Angry Joe at the Haunted Museum.
Joe is survived by his wife, Jeanne. His daughter Cristina Corley, and son-in-law Apollo Corley. His grandchildren Apollo II and Giavonna.
Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, NV on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please light a candle.
We would love for you to join us.
