Maureen Mercado

Maureen Ann Mercado, 80, formerly of Newark, NJ passed away at home in Henderson, Nevada on May 19, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Ciriaco and Eileen (Courtney) and her brothers Michael and Don, she is going survived by her sisters Carol Centanni of New Jersey and Denise Franklin of Nevada.

 Maureen spent her adult life in Nevada employed as a cocktail waitress at Caeser's Palace and the Gold Coast until her retirement.  Her leisure years were consumed with her love of floral design and oil paintings which were showcased in her surroundings. 

"Aunt" Moe will be forever missed by her nieces and nephews that she doted over and enjoyed. She'll be remembered for her unconventional approach to life and for doing things "her way".
