Patricia Ventura

 Patricia J. (Tricia) passed away on February 5, 2025, at West Henderson Hospital. Tricia was born in Reno, Nevada on December 15, 1959, to Mario and Gloria Ventura.

Tricia traveled about in her early years with her family following her father's USAF career. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1996. She graduated from Chapparal High School in 1977. Tricia attended Regis College in Denver, Colorado.

Tricia was preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Gloria and her partner of 20 years, David Kohley.

Tricia and David lived in Henderson, Nevada, and Wheaton IL.  While  in Wheaton, she started a dog sitting/walking buisness.  She was always happy while with dogs.  Upon Davids death, she returned to Henderson in December 2022. She moved into the College Villa senior apartments in February 2024. where there she met Donny Svensen. They shared good times together going to Lake Mead, taking day trips around  Southern Nevada area, listening to music and just being together. They were very much in love.

Tricia loved music, dogs, flowers, doing word searches, and entertaining and being with people. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, anytime.

She is survived by her sisters Virginia Benware (Michael) and Diana Truax (Jerry), her niece, Nicole Chacon (Joseph) and her nephews Matthew Truax (Amanda), Kyle Truax (Mimi), Christopher Benware (Trozell) and Nathan Benware (Hana). She had eight great nieces and nephews.
