Rc Cox (1941-2025)
Rc Cox, 84, passed away peacefully in Henderson, NV, on May 31st at 10:43pm. Leaving behind a lifetime of strong opinions, sweet treats, and country music. Born in Oklahoma, he was the last of his generation - surviving his 10 brothers and 1 sister with the same stubborn independence that defined his life.
A man of simple pleasures, he loved nothing more than classic country tunes by George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Paycheck, an episode of The Price Is Right, and some snacks like twinkies, popcorn, and peppermint patties. Though he wasn't one for fuss or sentiment, he showed his love in practical ways - always ready to help his kids and grandkids or loved ones with whatever they needed.
True to his no-frills nature, there will be no formal services. His family will honor his memory by remembering his strength, enjoying his favorite sweets, and maybe catching an old Western or two.
He was deeply loved, will be profoundly missed, and leaves behind a legacy as authentic as the man himself. To our Grandpa, to our Dad and to my Husband ... You lived life your way, right to the end. We love you!
